46-Y-O cocaine mule excreting pellets at GPHC
A 46-year-old, West Demerara resident is under police guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital, excreting cocaine pellets, after being nabbed at the Check-in Area of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport yesterday (November 16).
The suspect was an out-going passenger bound for the United States.
A 35-year-old West Demerara, a taxi driver who transported the suspect to the airport was also taken into police custody.
A police media release stated that the suspect who has been on the police’s radar for some time now has so far excreted 61 of the 91 cocaine pellets which have been detected via X-ray.
The amount retrieved so far amounted to 444 grams.
