NCN gets new CEO

The state owned, National Communications Network (NCN) has appointed Lennox Cornette as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding, Molly Hassan. His appointment will take effect from May 1, 2016.

A release signed by the Chairman of the Board, Bish Panday stated that Cornette emerged as the best candidate for the position based on his diverse communication, financial and executive management background.

“His work experience includes engagements with both the local and international private sector in the fields of Communication and Management. His last position was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Jailing Forest Industries Inc, where he was in charge of administration and operations,” the release stated.

Cornette, who is a Communications Consultant, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business, a Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, (Majored in Mass Communications), a Diploma in Public Communication, and Certificates in Planning and Promotion from Bailbrook College, England.
