Guyanese footballer swallows 51 cocaine pellets
Guyanese Footballer Manasseh “Ziggy” Primo is now inmate number 81025-053 at the Brooklyn Metro Detention Center. The footballer was arrested at the JFK Airport on Thursday last June 11 2015 after Federal Agents interrogated him and discovered he had swallowed cocaine pellets.
The footballer by the weekend had passed some 51 pellets weighing about 740 grams. Primo arrived in NY and declared that he had come to visit family and play in a soccer tournament but the agents did not believe his story and continued to question him. Born April 1st 1990, the 25 year old man played for Alpha United in Guyana as a striker. The court documents indicate that he is a father of three.
