APNU backing NO-Confidence motion
Opposition Leader – David Granger said Government should not believe that by agreeing to Local Government Election A Partnership For National Unity will not support the No Confidence Motion to be debated in the National Assembly.
Granger who was speaking at the Partnership’s weekly press conference at its Hadfield Street Office explained that he will not indulge in speculation on whether Government is prepared to agree to the terms outlined by the APNU and the AFC, but said it is unlikely that the Partnership will change its position on voting for the No Confidence Motion.
The two parties met on Wednesday at the Office of the Office of the Opposition Leader where they again held talks on APNU supporting the No Confidence Motion. The meeting was held two days after General Secretary of the Ruling People’s Progressive Party said there was some amount of discord between the two.
