AG asked to surrender Surendra’s bond
Attorney General Anil Nandlall should not be allowed to escape his responsibilities in the Specialty Hospital deal with Surendra Engineering because he failed to do his homework according to Joseph Harmon, A Partnership for National Unity Member of Parliament.
Harmon said the alleged fraudulent bond which the Attorney General turned over to the police, should be made public.
The APNU Shadow Public Works Minister explained that Surendra Engineering initially had a bond with a local insurance company, but cancelled after the rates were increased. INS Government terminated its contract with Surendra Engineering for the construction of the specialty Hospital over claims that the company submitted fraudulent documents. However the company denied those claims.
