Mother of man killed in Sophia in August frustrated at pace of police probe
Clair Carrington the grieving mother of the GWI employee Marvin Cumbermack that was gunned down in Sophia three weeks ago. The woman said since the death of her son the police have not made any contact with her. She said she took it upon herself to visit the station to find out how the investigation was progressing.
The police are still to locate the man’s motorcycle, which was taken by the bandit. Cumbermack was making his way back to work after dropping off his fiancée in C field Sophia when he was shot and killed outside of the Mercy Wings vocational school.
The police had arrested three suspects but they were later released from the police without any charges laid against them.
Relatives told this newscast that the motorcycle was last seen on the East Coast. The woman said the motorcycle was part of her husband’s legacy to her son.
