Funeral Service held for Dismembered Guyanese Woman

aaa3It’s been six agonizing weeks but on Thursday the funeral service of Chinelle Latoya Browne is expected to take place.

Her dismembered remains were discovered in a vacant parking lot in Bay Shore early on July 8 by people going to the nearby Fire Island ferry.

Today her husband Dale Browne via his facebook page revealed that final funeral arrangements for his wife have been made.

He said persons in the US interested in paying their last respects were welcome to attend the funeral service planned at the Caribe Funeral Home on Utica Avenue, in Brooklyn.

Chinelle Browne was last seen at her home in Brownsville on July 5, police reports revealed.

Law enforcement sources said at the time that the woman’s legs had been partially cut off.

On July 17, a severed head was found on Boylston Street in Hempstead.

On July 9, a homeowner found an arm with female clothing attached to it in his front yard on Webb Avenue.

The next day, another person discovered another arm in their yard about a half-mile away, near Stewart Avenue and Cornell Street, the report said.

Investigators said DNA tests were carried out on the body parts to see if they matched Browne’s.
