Missing teacher

Like her family and friends the Guyana teachers union is clinging to hope that missing teacher Nyozi Goodman is still alive.

Speaking with this newscast today General secretary Coretta Mc Donald said the union is saddened by the teacher’s mysterious disappearance.

Already there are speculations that the recently discovered decomposed body of a woman, in a clump of bushes aback of the Caricom Annex at Turkeyen on the East coast of Demerara, is that of Goodman. To date the DNA test is still to be done to ascertain if the body was that of Goodman.

Now the union is appealing to the police to speed up the process and bring an end to the speculations.

Carol Green the mother of Goodman said she is keeping the faith and will continue to pray for the safe return of her eldest child.

Goodman, 34, was last seen attending a basketball game on Sunday 6th of July at the National Gymnasium.
