Travelspan keeps passengers in the dark after cancelled flights
The uncertainty with Travelspan began with flight cancellations on Friday and to date the airline has said nothing publicly. Today, passengers showed up at the company’s Regent Street, Georgetown office.
Passengers said they showed up at the Travelspan office downtown because the phones at the office went unanswered. The frustrated passengers we spoke with said that they will not be booking any flights with the airline in the future.
Efforts to contact the local and overseas managers of Travelspan did not return our request for a statement on the issue. The company used neither its website nor its Facebook page to explain what happened. Travelspan began operating direct flights to New York in December last year.
