A lack of chemistry among the players was one of the main factors that affected Guyana’s chances of placing higher than 5th in the just concluded CBC in the British Virgin Islands. That’s the view of former National Captain and player Eon Andrews

Andrews also gave his analysis of the female team which finished last after a string of high scoring defeats.

Andrews who Captained Guyana at the 1985 CBC was high in praise of the Administration of the teams

Guyana’s best finish was the runner up position when they lost in the final to Barbados at the Cliff Anderson Sports hall in 1994.

And Kwakani’s Secondary school Captain Leonard Primo said that they did their homework and trained hard to emerge as Champions this year in the Digicel sponsored Youth Basketball Guyana schools festival.
