With the launch subscribers can check their landline telephone as well as post-paid accounts.
This service will is expected to cut out delays in the delivery of bills which are currently done using the Guyana post office Corporation mail delivery service.
Having checked their bills subscribers can then pay those bills using GT&T’s mobile Money Guyana service. Using this service GTT phone users can add credit to their phone which they can then store as in a wallet and pay telephone as well as other bills as they need to. GTT CEO RK Sharma said at the launch today that this service will cut out most of the hassle in receiving and paying bills.
GTT CEO demonstrated how the system is supposed to work and some GTT subscribers who were on hand were given the opportunity to check and pay their bills on the spot.
