And the force is looking to impact good values into the young minds hence the commencement of weekly vocational classes at the St Anne’s primary school.
The children and the teachers were elated and applauded the police for taking a step in the right direction.
Aided by the support of the public works ministry the police also commenced work on the Agricola play field that was left in a deplorable state for many years according to the residents.
A division commander Clifton Hicken said like Albouystown and other communities the police are working to ensure safer communities.
And the ministry of public works is also actively involved in this exercise.
The Guyana Police Force’s impact project will be extended to other communities.
