Street signs for Albouystown
Today Jai Signs presented 75 street signs to the police and faith based groups that are integral to the restoration of the community.
Deputy superintendent of police Wayne De Hearte said this is one more step the force has put in place to enhance the image of the community.
Nankumar Nanpersaud managing director of Jai Signs said he is happy to support the initiative of the police and he is always willing to lend a helping hand.
And then the religious leaders spoke of the results they are seeing thus far from the impact Albouystown project.
Impact Albouystown is being used as a pilot project and already the Guyana Police Force is reporting some success in the reduction of crime in the community. The police currently has a presence in the community throughout the day.
