Screen Shot 2014-06-16 at 6.49.00 PMNeighbours said it was Sumintra Dinool’s son raised the alarm just 4:30 Sunday morning. He reportedly found the woman on her bed with her hands and feet tied to the bed.

The house was ransacked, several pieces of electrical appliances were reportedly missing and over $100,000 in cash was taken from the woman’s home. He immediately alerted his relatives who lived next door and called in the police. When this newscast visited relatives at the Barr and Sussex Street Albouystown home they were reluctant to speak to the media, as they were busy trying to put the pieces together on what may have gone wrong.

At the station this morning the woman’s ex-husband and son who made the gruesome discovery were back to render assistance as the police look for clues. Dinool 65 year old owned several stalls in the vendors arcade and was said to be very quiet and easy going according to residents.

And two men remained in custody as the investigation continues into the death of 17 year old Lusignan youth Danrag Latchman.

On Friday the east coast family worst fears were confirmed with news of his death. The man’s body was found some five miles from where his white 212 Carina car was found late Thursday night in the Parika Backdam.

The youth left for Parika on Wednesday with friends from his home village of Lusignan.

The police are expected to bring charges against the men soon.
