Passenger subdued after trying to rush security at CJIA

A female passenger who was allegedly pelting security officers at CJIA on Saturday was restrained and not allowed to check in to her early morning flight to Miami. The Airport security used a baton to restrain her leaving the woman bloodied. She appeared to be mentally unstable according to persons who witnessed the incident. The woman is said to be a military veteran suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) disorder. She was due to travel on BW 484 that goes to Miami via Port of Spain. Caribbean Airlines claims it never checked her in as a passenger. To travel again the passenger would have to demonstrate that she is fit to fly as she has been deemed a flight risk.
