Police raid has residents fuming

Screen shot 2014-05-09 at 8.40.29 PMNational footballer Andrew Murray was one of six persons arrested by the police who swooped down on two separate building in 2nd street Alexander Village today.

The raid and the police conduct in the execution of their duty was not pleasing to the occupants of the homes who told the media that the lawmen said they came in search of guns and drugs.

Murray’s mother and fiancé then made some sweeping allegations against the policemen who visited their home.

Murray currently plays for the Alpha United Football club which is currently preparing for the Caribbean Football Union championship.

Up to later this afternoon Murray and the other five persons were still in custody as the police continues their investigations.
