GTT will provide $60 million to the University of Guyana
GT&T will provide $20 million in services every year to the University over the next three years. The company’s chief executive RK Sharma outlined how the money will be used when he signed an agreement with the University’s Vice Chancellor Jacob Opadeyi.
The University’s Vice Chancellor has been knocking at doors for corporate support to keep the University afloat and improve its programmes; he said he was happy GT&T came knocking, as he underscored the importance of the University.
The $60 million, three-year agreement with the University represents the highest dollar value contribution to any organization by the telecommunications provider.
