Tributes pour in for the late chairman of the Private Sector Commission Ron Webster

Screen shot 2014-04-29 at 9.10.22 PMTributes kept pouring in for long service chairman of the Private Sector commission Ron Webster, who passed after a long fight with cancer.

Today a book of condolences was opened at the Private sector commission headquarters.

His colleagues remembered him as a man who served with distinction, balance and measured leader of the PSC.

Ramesh Persaud, Clinton Urling, Jerry Gouveia and Eddy Boyer said Webster passing was a big blow to the PSC.

Andrew Ayre British high commissioner was among those signing the book of condolences and he said Guyana has loss one of its most competent private sector leaders.

Webster recently returned to Guyana from Trinidad and Tobago where he underwent a cancer related surgery. He passed away at Balwant Singh Hospital early Sunday morning.
