The coach who took The Golden Jags to the 2nd round of the World Cup qualifiers Jamaal Shabazz said that too much time is being wasted by the GFF administration. Shabazz speaking to us from his Trinidad home said at the end of the day people want to see football

The GFF elections are due for this weekend and Shabazz said that strong leadership is needed.

Shabazz also said he has no apologies for what he has earned while coaching for Guyana because he values his skills.

The Christopher Mathias led Administration has come in for a lot of criticism from its own members as well as others for not living up to expectations.


This Sunday the Cliff Anderson sports hall will be the place to be as 4 games are planned for the all-star weekend action. The action starts at 4 in the afternoon and will feature an all-female matchup Georgetown vs a Linden kwakani lineup, Pepsi Sonics will clash with Republic Bank Nets , Plaisance guardians battle Colours Panthers and in the feature  Ravens will square off against the All star team.
