Family upset over hospital treatment
Joint services rank Samuel Elvis had his foot amputated this afternoon and his relatives are blaming the staff of the GPHC for the rapid deterioration that led to the amputation. Elvis was shot in the foot by another rank last month. His mother Joylyn Elvis said all their pleas fell on deaf ears.
Elvis of Bella Dam Poudroyen was in the GPHC for two weeks and his foot was getting worse by the day according to his mother. .She said her son continued to complain of fever and pain daily. The woman said when she asked for an ex-ray of her son ‘s foot she was told that it disappeared.
Mrs Elvis said she is now waiting to hear from the Guyana Police Force.

The rank that reportedly shot Elvis is reportedly walking free and Stewart said it is not easy to see Samuel in that condition She said the family needs justice.
The relatives told Capitol News that The Army has been very supportive though-out their ordeal.
