Mahaica resident finds strange object on Atlantic foreshore
Now, a Mahaica, East Coast Demerara man earlier in the day became curious when he stumbled upon a strange object on the foreshore while on a search for crabs. He thought the object resembled part of an aircraft and immediately his thoughts went to the missing Malaysian airliner. But it was not be to.
Civil Aviation Authorities visited the area and experts on site confirmed that the object was definitely not that of an aircraft and looked more like parts of a rocket launcher. An expert on the ground said the object could have floated this way from French Guiana, which has a space centre.
