UG/MACORP Collaborate to lift UG.
Technology Students from UG will again benefit from hands on training and financial support for some of their projects. This morning Industrial Equipment company Macorp and the University of Guyana signed an MOU worth 850 thousand dollars a year for this purpose.
Partnerships with the private sector have been one of the iniatives UG Vice Chancellor Professor Jacob Opadeyi has been pushing to raise standards at Guyana’s lone University. He said such partnerships are very important and welcome. The vice chancellor said UG can only provide the theory.
