Family plead with Delroy Brown to turn himself in
Family members of wanted man Delroy Brown is appealing to him to turn himself into the police. The Waterloo Street young man who was under police guard made a daring escape from the Georgetown Public Hospital yesterday by picking his handcuffs.
This was inspite of him nursing two gunshot wounds to his feet. His grandmother Carmine Morris said she saw Delroy at the hospital and told him to hang in there and allow the law to take its course.
She said the young man grew up with his parents both of whom passed away at a young age. Morris said because of Delroy’s unbecoming attitude and his association with certain friends the two of them are constantly at war.
Brown was detained last Thursday after he and an accomplice were caught with two unlicenced guns in Plum Park Sophia.
Brown and another man were caught during a police stop and search exercise. According to the police an unlicenced 9mm. pistol and one round with a .38 revolver with six rounds were found.
