The policeman fingered in the Colwyn Harding allegation resumed normal duty
The policeman fingered in the Colwyn Harding baton assault allegation has resumed his normal duty; Crime chief Seelall Persaud confirmed this. You would recall that the policeman was placed under close arrest following the allegation.
Crime chief Seelall Persaud said the further investigation the DPP advised is still ongoing.
Harding’s legal team headed by attorney at law Nigel Hughes submitted their medical records and findings to the DPP on the matter. It is unclear if those findings were taken into consideration by the DPP.
Harding claimed that an officer attached to the Timehri Police station beat him unconscious and sodomised him with a condom covered baton.
