GT&T and THAG sign three-year agreement
Guyana continues to be marketed as a Nature Tourism destination and the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) has been one of the organizations selling this package. Well THAG has found a major sponsor in GT&T(Guyana Telephone and Telegraph company) and the two companies signed today an agreement which will see some 3 million dollars invested into THAG’s activities over the next three years.
THAG’s President Kit Nascimento said that the tourism sector continues to be one of the areas for major growth in the economy. He said while some challenges exist there is a lot to look forward to especially with a partner like GT&T.

The relationship between the two organizations go way back and Nascimento said this agreement serves to re-establish and formalize their collaboration
