imgresThe West Indies will be looking to carry the momentum of their massive win over NZ in the fifth and final one day match when the two sides square off this evening Caribbean time for the first of two 20/20 matches. The WI are the defending champions in the World 20/20 Championship and even with half of the players from that squad missing  will be looking to make a big impression here as they build up to the start of their title defence. The West Indies and New Zealand teams have had a competitive head to head series in 20/20 matches with 3 tied matches 2 of them happening in Auckland the venue of tonights’ match.

GOA president KA Juman Yassin said the GOA has had a good year in 2013. He said though there were some challenges there were several positives last year.

Yassin also disclosed that the GOA is especially looking to have amateur boxers prepared for upcoming tournaments.
