Organization addressing problem of men and domestic violence

domestic 17thMen came out in their numbers to make a statement and take a stand against domestic violence.

Using the slogan “End it Now” the focus is on empowering men to take back their rightful role in society and become well rounded.

The idea was the brainchild of the Seventh Day Adventist church where on an annual basis they address critical issues relating to males. The men marched through the streets of Georgetown in their numbers.

Diego Alphonso of the men’s affairs Bureau of the ministry of human services threw out a challenge to other faith base organizations to get involved.

For this year so far more than a 15 women were killed at the hands of their out of control partner. Women’s  rights group and other concerned citizens are calling for more to be done to protect women who are caught in such situation.
