Successful business ownership training for youths
Youths between the ages of 15-29 are being taught skills that will see them pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and. They will be engaged in a six day intense workshop dubbed Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO). That is put together by the UNDP Caricom and Guyana’s Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport. Dr Hilary Brown is the Programme Manger in the Human and Social Development Directorate at Caricom Said that the methodologies to be employed will be youth friendly.
Dr Brown said too that investment in young people must be a priority. This she said was one of the key recommendations from a Caricom Youth Commission Report
Representing the Ministry of Culture was its Director of Youth acting Gillian Frank and she asked the participants to ensure they grasp the opportunity to learn as much as they could.
