POPO neglectYouth violence continues to be a major worry for the Guyana Police Force and the force is currently looking at a number of initiatives to deal with issue from a preventative standpoint.

Crime Chief Seelall Persaud said that youths below the age of 35 make up the largest group that are involved in crimes as victims or perpetrators.

And the police will be going after an Albouystown gang, which goes by the name of hot skull. The lawmen believe that they have netted some success against that gang following the death of three of its members and the incarceration.
