The People’s National Congress Reform is gearing up its supporters for Local Gov’t Elections.
The PNC/R is preparing supporters for the much-anticipated local government elections even as the waiting continues for president Donald Romator to assent to the four local government bills.
Member of parliament Vanessa Kissoon told those gathered that they must be prepared to do whatever they have to do to ensure that local government elections are held.
Another Member of Parliament attorney at law James Bond told the rally that local government election is a serious business.
Annette Ferguson also addressed the rally and she reminded the youths that they are the future of tomorrow.
The rally was held over the weekend at Golden Grove and it was organized by the youth arm of the PNC/R. the focus of the rally was to highlight the importance of local government elections. The last time those Elections were held in Guyana was in 1994.
