A licensed firearm holder ended his life at the Kitty Seawall.
A licensed firearm holder this afternoon ended his life at the Kitty Seawall just opposite Conversation Tree on the Rupert Craig Highway when he took a gun, placed it in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
According to the Police the businessman was identified as 71 year old, Robert Wight of Bel-Air Gardens. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the man’s action may have been premeditated since his daughter was looking for him when he left their home this afternoon because she heard him saying he would end his life.
Captiol News understands that Wright and his wife were arguing most of the day over him returning home in the wee hours of the morning as she accused him of having an affair for several years now.
Around 4 this afternoon the man went to the Seawall and before ending his life called his police friend saying he had something important to tell him. But before White’s friend could approach him the man took out the gun and pulled the trigger.
His .32 Taurus revolver with four rounds and one spent shell was recovered by the police. The man’s body was taken to the Lyken Funeral parlor as investigations continue.
