The Guyana Rugby football union is shocked at the severity of the punishment over a month in advance of the North American Caribbean Rugby Association sevens championship by NACRA.

Guyana was denied entry to the championship on a technicality by NACRA due to late booking by some five hour and an appeal by the union to the IRB were turned down
the president said the union would be hoping to rebound from this blow.
there are also reports that two other countries have also meet the similar fate like guyana
Over 16 countries were expected to take part in the this years championship but only 12 countries will be competing.
The NACRA championship would be held in the Cayman island

But the countries top team alpha the hammer united’s coach Wayne Dover says his team is ready for any challenge.
Alpha united have been dominating the football scene for sometime now and have expressed the desire to play against higher ranked teams in the region.
Santos and Alpha will clash on friday in the finals of the GFA banks beer players cup, while Riddim squad and Sunburst Camptown plays for third place. The finals are set for the GFC ground.
