West Indies and new zealand womens  squad will  battle each other in the final one day  international on thursday in Jamaica to determine the tournament winner.

West Indies Women Rebounded to demolish new zealand by  89-runs in the second One-Day International on Tuesday in jamaica

The 17-year-old shaquana  Quintyne hit the top score of 29, as the Westindies Women recovered from shaky 95-8 to post 148.
Quintyne then snared 2-9 from four overs of her leg-spin, as New Zealand were bundled out for a meagre 59.
The three-match series is now level 1-1 with the decider to be played on Thursday at the same venue.

The prospects  for guyana football in the near future  looks bright as new talents is being discovered  at the courts schools pee-wee football tournament . but the concerns of many impressed  parents in attendance is how the organizers are going  to harness the talent and groom them for the future.

Action in the  courts pee -wee schools tournament continue this  saturday at the banks DIH  thirst park and the petra organizers are  encouraging parents and fans to watch the games.

He’s expected here by next week. at present the team trains under the guidance of coach adonis
But even as the teams  press forward with preparation  Guyana’s  chances of participating in the championship is very slim due to funding.

Guyana held the caribbean title for over six years but lost to mexico last year. Senior selector of Guyana rugby sevens team Mike Mc cormack said for guyana to regain the title some things need to be  put in order

The caribbean championship would be held in November the  in cayman islands.
