Several radio and television stations including NCN could soon be deemed illegal.

radioEight Radio and television operators could be deemed illegal broadcasters if payments aren’t made for their license. Chairman of the board of the Guyana Broadcasting Authority, Bibi Shadick said that they have until month end to get their affairs in order.

Shadick said that those, broadcasting without  the relevant paper work, and  according to broadcast act, will be penalized.

The State owned, National Communications  Network NCN is also on that list. So far four television and two radio stations have since been issued with  license to broadcast.
