A con artist tried to pull one too many and was set up by the police.

FraudThe police Tuesday arrested a suspected Housing fraudster after he was attempting to pull off another fraud this time against a policeman.

The police have been on his case for a number of weeks after receiving several reports of his illegal activities. The police trap was set after the officer made contact with the man to purchase a peace of land for Agriculture Purposes for $600,000.

The transaction was to take place at the man’s Maraj building office and the cop was there ready to strike the deal. The suspect said he was totally unaware why the police was arresting him.

The man a few days earlier reportedly sold a piece of land at Kuru Kuru on the highway to a businesswoman for 3million dollars.

The woman said after handing over the money she began to do some investigation with the lands and survey department only to find out that no such land was sold in that area.

A police source told this newscast that the alleged fraudster was on the police radar for a while after several persons complained about been tricked by the suspect.
