APNU turns to civil Society to support its call for the removal of Clement Rohee.

GgrangerA Partnership for National Unity (APNU) Leader, David Granger believes the administration should be held accountable for the present crime situation.

He says the PPP should be blamed for the mismanagement of Public Security and now wants to see public action.According to Granger after seven years under Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee the present security situation is obvious that there needs to be change at the top.

The Opposition Leader described Minister Rohee’s control of the Guyana Police Force as being micromanaged which causes the force to not function properly.

Former Police Commissioner Winston Felix who is now an APNU Executive Member said only when perpetrators are brought to justice that citizens would feel safe.

As the Party prepares for Parliament next month the APNU plans to continue voting against any bills presented in the National Assembly by the Home Affairs Minister.
