A source told this newscast that the shooting has its genesis in an event at a city nightclub, where the dead man was accused of having an affair with the wife of the businessman, a claim he has categorically denied.

It was just around 9:30 Tuesday night Davis was reportedly shot some 11 times during what is reported to be a confrontation with the businessman.
