Lumumba was speaking at the finals of the Slingerz Goal for Gold tournament which his club won. His thoughts were echoed by Alpha Coach Wayne Dover who said he needed a fresh challenge.

Dover was the assistant coach for the National football team the Golden Jaguars when they reached the second round qualifiers for the 2014 World cup.

Cricket: Amazon Warriors’ Head Coach Roger Harper believes that the recently concluded Limacol Caribbean Premier League brought attention to several players for the future.

Harper said the tournament was successfully hosted and generated quite a lot of interest and it would be nice to see that continue.

The West Indies will tour India in November for a 2 match Test series and 3 one day Matches. The series which will come just before India’s trip to South Africa will see India’s batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar notching up his 200th Test appearance.
