Short film ‘Seawall’ by Guyanese film maker screened at Moray House

seawalla+moray houseMoray House was the venue for the screening of Seawall a short film by Guyanese Film maker, Maison Richards. ‘Seawall’ according to Richards, is a film he did in 2009 and one which he wants to turn into a feature. It was screened at the world renowned Cannes Film festival in France and according to Richards, his goal was to showcase Guyana.

The talented film maker said over the past two years, he has been making strides in his push to make the film into a full feature film. Richards was in Suriname for the Carifesta period where ‘Seawall’ was also shown during a master class where it was well received by his peers. It was screened during Carifesta at the TBL cinemas.
