University of Guyana officially reopens
Classes at the University commenced today, but while some students have already gotten pass the registration process, there are new and continuing students who are still finding it difficult to move pass this stage since their application is still pending.
Registrar of the University, Vincent Alexander said his department is working around the clock to correct the problems students encounter. Alexander said over the years the registration process at the University has improved.
New faces to the University of Guyana said that they are excited to begin pursuing their studies.
The University of Guyana was established in 1963 and offers more than 60 Under-graduate and Post-graduate programmes. According to the Registrar, this year the University saw over two thousand applications being submitted.
