The Guiana games which are for Under 19 athletes who are in an educational institution will open tomorrow at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall at 10 a.m. Guyana will be looking to get a good performance in with home advantage. Guyana are the defending champions in Cycling and table tennis.

And the Limacol CPL campaign for Guyana’s Amazon Warriors continue tomorrow night in Trinidad when they take on Trinidad’s Red Steel. The Guyanese will be fancying their chances against the struggling Red Steel team, which they beat here in Guyana a week ago. The Warriors beat Trinidad in their opening game and then then the Jamaica Tallawahs, before losing on Sunday to the Darren Sammy-led St. Lucia Zouks.

The tournament has been given the thumbs up by West Indies legend Rir Vivian Richards, who is the head coach of the Hawksbills of Antigua. But even as the tournament enters its second week tragedy struck at the St. Lucia /Antigua match on Tuesday night when a fan was electrocuted while the game was in progress.
