Police and protestors clash outside Parliament buildings

Police and protestors outside Parliament buildings clash, as protesters try to go beyond the barriers placed to restrict traffic around the Parliament buildings.

Some persons are protesting the appointment of Carol Sooba as Town Clerk, while others are protesting the Amaila Falls Hydropower proposal. Villagers from Isseneru were also on the picket line as well as protestors from the People’s Progressive Party.
