Businessman reviews security arrangements after yet another robbery at his store

Screen shot 2013-07-18 at 8.50.14 PMAn East Coast businessman is this evening reviewing his security arrangements following yet another robbery at his store.

Late yesterday afternoon gunmen invaded the Full Works Auto parts Store at Good Hope East Coast Demerara and took away just around $900,000 in cash. Two employees were beaten and patrons in the store were also robbed.

Proprietor of the store Mohammed Ali, told Capitol News that the men came into the store asking for a car front.

Ali said he  was fearful to appear on camera for security reasons.

He said two members of his staff had to be rushed to the GPHC after being gun butted by the bandits. Ali said after committing the act the men calmly walked away and joined a getaway car, which was parked a short distance away from the store.

The business has surveillance cameras around, but at the time of the robbery the businessman said the cameras were off. The police are investigating.
