Opposition Leader David Granger to appeal decision to exclude him from the Budget Cuts case – 5th Jul 2013
Attorney-At-Law Basil Williams told the media that the decision to exclude Granger as a Defendant in the matter was contrary to the rules of natural justice.
Williams also believes that the decision by the Chief Justice was arbitrary and unreasonable.
The Government is arguing that the 2012 budget cuts made by the joint opposition parties were unlawful and void. The matter before the court is to have the court determine whether or not the opposition parties are allowed to cut the budget.
