The Guyana Football Federation will be meeting soon to inform the public about its plans in the immediate future. The team headed by new President Christopher Mathias will also make public some of the proposals from the world governing body FIFA. Mathias recently travelled to Panama for the Regional confederation’s CONCACAF Congress. Capitol News also understands that the federation intends to meet with the locally based members of the National squad Golden Jaguars to outline and discuss plans for the short and long term of the GFF.
And some members of the Golden Jaguars squad playing overseas have been making the headlines. Walter Moore who has been playing in Kazakhstan recently scored his first goal for his team FC Vostok while National Captain Chris Nurse playing in Canada scored his first for the season in FC Edmonton’s 2-3 loss to the Vancouver whitecaps.
