Several Staffers of the One Laptop Per Family Project fired after failing lie detector tests – 27th Feb 2013

aaaadsc_0788Several staffers of the One Laptop Per Family Project may have been sent packing recently after supposedly failing lie detector tests.

Capitol News understands that the tests were administered to a number of staffers, but of those, some were told that they had failed the test. The problems all started several months ago, when a number of laptops went missing from the project. The Police were called in months after the discovery was made. The exact number of laptops stolen is believed to be in excess of 150. The project is the brainchild of former President, Bharat Jagdeo, and the target was 90,000 laptops for countrywide distribution. Several persons have been sent home and others left for different reasons.

Capitol News also understands, that Cabinet Secretary Dr. Roger Luncheon, who had confirmed the theft of the computers, is now overseeing the project.
