Trans Guyana Airways introduces flights to Baganara, Bartica from Ogle – 12th Feb 2013
Travel between the community of Bartica and other places in Guyana and neighbouring Suriname is expected to be much easier thanks to the new flight schedules put on by Trans Guyana Airways recently. This is according to Consultant to the the Correia group, Frank Wilson. Those flights will take place in the afternoon to avoid the usual morning fog over the area and will commence from tomorrow Wednesday.
Wilson said the flights will be reliable, going on the schedule even if it is with one passenger aboard.
The route has been described as a good one by the Vice President of The Tourism and Hospitality association of Guyana THAG, Kit Nascimento, who said the partnership will enhance tourism in the Essequibo.
The Airline recently launched the new route from the Baganara Resort, where the Manager there, Kirk Jordan said, there is a heavy influx of persons from the Diaspora.
The Flights to Bartica will take take off from the Ogle Airport.
