Organisers of the Children Mashramani competitions dub the events a success – 8th Feb 2013
Organizers of this year’s children Mashramani competition are giving thumbs up after the curtains came down on the Department of Education, Georgetown District Children’s Mashramani competition, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Coordinator, Emanuel Bridgewater told Capitol News that though the one week of activities was intense, he was satisfied with the outcome.
This is Bridgewater’s first year as a coordinator of the Georgetown competition and he described the experience as challenging, but at the same time rewarding.
Bridgewater said from his observation, he believes that entries this year was of a high quality, with schools incorporating the Mash theme throughout their entries.
He said also expressive arts remain a critical part of the Primary and Secondary school programme through the ten administrative regions.
