Better days ahead for Children at the Mahaica Children’s Home thanks to Digicel – 31st Jan 2013

shot0008Very soon the children housed at the Mahaica Children’s home will have new living quarters and improved facilities around them and its all thanks to DIGICEL. The Telephone Company is collaborating with the Ministry of Labour Human Services and Social Security on the project; which according to Minister Jennifer Webster, will improve the lives of some 60 Orphans and abused children.

The construction of the multi-million dollar project has encountered problems with materials shortages, among others, but these, according to Digicel officials, were overcome and the structure should be ready in a matter of months and they were happy with how the building was taking shape.

The second phase of the project will involve the landscaping of the compound.

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the
same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Appreciate it!
