Nurses’ migration, lack of trained individuals affecting health sector – PAHO representative – 18th Jan 2013
The Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) representative, Dr. Beverley Burnett thinks nurses’ migration and the need to have trained individuals in the health care system are key areas that are affecting the sector.
Dr. Burnett made this remark during a Health Ministry Clinical Instructors’ Workshop on Friday. The workshop was conducted in collaboration with PAHO.
The PAHO Representative encouraged the participants to take advantage of the training opportunity as a way to improve their skills.
Health Minister, Dr. Bheri Ramsaran said, it is important for the clinical instructors to work together and share their ideas to better the services at the various medical institutions.
The Clinical Instructors Workshop will wrap up over the weekend.
